Other Romances

So we have out favourite of course, and the other three companions. But what about other characters in the game. It was something I just started thinking about last night after playing the mage origin and found the whole thing with Cullen extremely cute. It may even give me the willpower to resist Alistair on this run, as my mage cares too much for another templar.

And with my original human, I was disappointed I could sleep with the elf and the guy (can't rememember the names) but not Gilmore. He was adorable! And I even cried when he sent my character away as he held off Howe's men at the gate.

Does anyone else do this with miscellaneous characters?

In the City Elf origin, my intended fiance was a bit bleh, but my male cousin wasn't too bad.

Completly agree an Gilmore, he was way more interesting than this noble boy.
I like my virtual men in armor, these noble-clothes look too muach like pyjamas.
I'm going to play a mage after my current playthrough, didn't even know that Cullen is in the origin, but I suppose it makes sense.
Does he remember you if you meet him again in the tower?

Oh man, this! He was not only totally interested but he was noble and charming and I'm pretty sure that a "PC marries Bann Teagan" ending would be appreciated. I mean, he's no Alistair, but he didn't seem like he'd dump my poor city elf either. *cough*

Yes, thissss. He had my heart at the scene with Loghain and Anora... he is such a BAMF.

I also ship Cullen/Amell hard, due in no small part to Crisium's sheer genius.

Oh wow! Just wow! I hadn't read these before because I hadn't played a mage (I am not usually the mage-type in games) but after starting to ship my Amell/Cullen, a whole new world has opened to me.

Oh the plot bunnies dancing in my head at the moment.

Now everytime I encounter an ogre ingame I got this weird feeling that my PC is disrupting their rigorous aerobic program (lol they got to stay in shape somehow, don't they?)

Just got the Bann Teagan dialog and I must agree that these few comments of his have serious plotbunny-potential...

I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who eyed Bann Teagan. I remember clicking on him furiously at the end of the game when he's standing next to Eamon to talk to him... but alas, 'twas not so. "Talk to me, dammit! Talk to me!"

This reminds me of something I read on the bioware-boards a long time ago.
A female bioware-employee (kind of forgot her name) was playing the game to look for bugs and because a romance cutscene was not triggerin as it should, she screamed "Why won't you sleep with me?" into the room she was sharing with other playtesters.

Could be worse, if I were in her shoes I would probably scream something inappropriate like "Why won't you let me lick your lamppost?"

Hahaha! This makes me feel better (there's a lot of that going on when I read this forum, come to think about it) about answering with "I can't get him to fall in love with me! He needs to LOVE ME already!" when my husband asked me what was wrong during a fit of frustration in the midst of my first playthrough. It's times like these that I'm glad that to know that I'm not alone =)

Playing a female Dwarf Noble made me love Gorim. Which made encountering him in Denerim quite a painful conversation. D:

Definitely feeling the Cullen/Amell. He's cute, he's tortured.. perfect. I have actually written that aspect into my epic.

Since Awakening, Anders. He's lovely. Got the Duncan hairstyle and earring.. that sarcasm.. rawr! Serious potential here. Yes, oh yes he shall be written!

Cailan and well anyone besides Anora, especially if you have him notice the PC. That's a good bit of fun.
